beginning

Recently, I made the comment on a friend's blog: "I love that you're blogging." She's sharing her day-to-day life in Addis Ababa, where she and her husband moved for their work in the US foreign service. I don't love the "thing" that her blog is, but rather I love that she's doing it. And I love reading it. (And, she's doing it with honestly and grit and determination and beautiful images.) More than staying connected, she's sharing her world in a way that opens mine. 

So, inspired by her and others, I add my beginning to the billions out there with the humble goal to share what I make and do.
